The MX-V EVO FIM is Arai's ultimate off-road helmet that has been tested to meet FIM's strict standards. The PB-CLC2 outer shell is manufactured using special Z-compound resins and balanced by a lightweight inner liner for reduced overall weight.
The MX-V Evo follows the MX-V and has evolved from the legendary VX-3. Years of Arai's competition experience can be found in its ultimate MX, Enduro and off-road use helmet. And, while fashions in helmet appearance come and go quickly, the MX-V's organic R75 shell design exists for the same reasons it is in all Arai helmets to create a smooth, round shell shape that maintains its integral strength.
With no exaggerated edges or protrusions the MX-V EVO FIM is the first Arai off-road helmet homologated to the FIM FRHPhe-02 standard without significant changes.
Key to this is Arai's belief in the egg shape of its helmets. Taking the strongest shape in nature as inspiration, the rounder, smoother, and stronger characteristics of an Arai shell define every helmet made, and the MX-V EVO is no different.
